Dataorra, Inc. ("Dataorra", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Dataorra platform and related services.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, password (hashed), and account type when you register.
Billing information: Payment details are processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your full card number.
Usage data: Workflow runs, automation activity, integrations connected, and feature usage to operate and improve the Service.
Communications: If you contact us or submit a demo request, we store the information you provide.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically for security and performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (account verification, receipts, password resets)
- To communicate updates, new features, or support responses
- To detect fraud, abuse, or security threats
- To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Neon (database), cloud infrastructure providers — only as necessary to operate the Service
- Experts: If you engage an Expert, limited profile information is shared with them to facilitate the engagement
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie (dataorra-auth) to maintain your login state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@dataorra.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed passwords (scrypt), and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
